Do I need to install or host anything?
No. AmazoniaTech ITMS is a fully managed service — we run it for you in a German data centre in Munich. There is no server to provision, no Docker, no updates to apply. You sign up, invite your team, and start using it. We handle hosting, patching, backups and uptime.
Where does my data live, and how does this work for GDPR?
Entirely in Germany. Your instance and its database run in an ISO-certified data centre in Munich — EU-only, with no transfer to US clouds, which sidesteps the hardest GDPR question by design. We act as your processor and provide a signed data-processing agreement (AVV/DPA). The product also ships a full DPO suite — document vault, processor register, audit questionnaires and e-signed policies.
How do I migrate off spreadsheets and Monday.com?
Upload your existing Excel and CSV files — or send them to us and we do it. The importer normalizes the mess (German characters, European dates, phone numbers with leading apostrophes, duplicate rows), fuzzy-matches assets to the right people, and auto-creates anyone who owns kit but was missing from your directory. For Monday.com, the service desk is a deliberately simpler replacement your non-technical colleagues will actually use.
What’s the security model — sign-in, roles, audit, e-signature?
Login is per-user email and password, managed securely by the platform. Access is role-based (Admin, IT, Employee) and enforced in depth: middleware guards navigation and every data-changing action independently re-checks the caller’s role, so an employee can’t reach an IT operation even by crafting the request directly. Sensitive fields are masked for non-IT users, every change is audit-logged, and handovers and policy acknowledgments are captured with an on-screen e-signature saved as a PDF.
How do updates, backups and uptime work?
They’re on us. Because it’s a managed service, we apply updates, run backups and monitor uptime for you — no maintenance window to schedule and no feature you paid for disappearing overnight. New features and fixes roll out continuously, and your data is backed up in Germany on a regular schedule.
How does billing work — is there a contract?

Is the interface available in German as well as English?
Yes — the entire UI is bilingual German / English, switchable per user, and you set the default. Every module is fully localized and generated handover PDFs carry your legal company name. This was built for German Mittelstand first, not translated as an afterthought: Kündigungsfrist tracking and AVV/DPA registers are in the product because German IT actually needs them.
How does this compare to Snipe-IT, Zammad, Jira or Intune?
Those are each one slice. Snipe-IT is asset tracking; Zammad and Jira Service Management are ticketing; Intune is device management.
